Pakistan clinched the series in style, taking down the West Indies by 13 runs in the final T20I! The spotlight shone brightly on openers Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub, who cooked up a sizzling 138-run stand, setting the tone early and making sure the scoreboard kept ticking. Though it wasn’t all fireworks at first, Pakistan hit the gas in the final overs, launching five sixes and bagging 53 runs in the last four. That late burst proved to be the difference, pushing their total to a solid 189 for 4.

Chasing 190, the Windies came out swinging, 33 runs in just two overs had the crowd roaring. Athanaze and Rutherford gave it a good go with gritty fifties, but Pakistan’s bowlers held their nerve. Sufiyan Muqeem bowled a beauty to dismiss Jason Holder, and from there, the West Indies chase unraveled. Despite a late scramble, they just couldn’t keep up with the run rate. And just like that, Pakistan wrapped up a 2-1 series win. Their seventh straight T20I series triumph over the Windies!
An exciting finish with Pakistan taking the final T20I.#WIvPAK | #FullAhEnergy pic.twitter.com/OXjtGz51Wv

WI vs PAK 2025 3rd T20I – Key Batters Predicted, But What About the Bowlers?
In the previous two articles, we discussed the recent form of both teams, as well as the potential key batters based on the pitch conditions. But we cannot forget the bowlers. Although the Central Broward pitch is not the most bowler-friendly, even on a challenging surface, a bowler’s ability to dominate the game remains crucial.
WI vs PAK – Pakistan’s Struggling Bowling Attack
Looking at Pakistan’s last five T20Is, their bowling attack has been unstable. The expected to possibly bowlers, Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Abrar Ahmed, Abbas Afridi, and Hasan Ali, show mixed performances. Ashraf has the best economy rate (Econ) at 8.30, but this is still high for a bowler. Ahmed, the next best, has an even higher Econ of 9.71. Although Ashraf is a fast bowler and Ahmed is a spinner, these high Econs raise concerns. It remains to be seen if Pakistan can control the West Indies’ strong batting at Central Broward, a venue favorable for batsmen.

WI vs PAK – Can Akeal Hosein Lead the Attack?
The West Indies are expected to possibly field Akeal Hosein, Jason Holder, Romario Shepherd, Alzarri Joseph, and Gudakesh Motie. While the performance gap among these bowlers is wide, Hosein has stood out with an economy rate of just 6.55 in his last five matches, along with a strike rate of 16.38. Although the other bowlers (except Motie) have economy rates above 10, Hosein’s performance suggests he could lead the attack. Motie, with an economy rate of 8.88, is not top-tier but delivered an outstanding 5.25 against England. Overall, West Indies have the upper hand in the bowling department.

WI vs PAK 2025 3rd T20I – Venue History&Analysis: Central Broward Regional Park Stadium
Stadium Capacity: Around 25,000 spectators
Stadium Address: 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill, FL 33311, USA
About the Stadium:
The Central Broward Cricket Stadium, built in 2007, is the first ICC-certified stadium in the USA for international cricket. Its establishment was largely influenced by the local South Asian community. This community has made it a vibrant venue for cricket events. Whenever matches involving India, Pakistan, or the West Indies are held, the stadium sees a huge turnout, as these countries have the largest immigrant populations in Florida. The atmosphere becomes electric with fans filling the stands, playing traditional music, and dancing during breaks, creating a carnival-like vibe.

Interestingly, everyone knows that in the US, apart from baseball and basketball, American football is the most popular sport. Central Broward is also equipped with a football field, so whenever there’s a cricket match and an American football game happening simultaneously, something truly unique occurs. You’ll see football and cricket fans sitting in their respective stands, watching the other sport’s game. And it gets even more fun when the fans start joking with each other. For example, cricket fans might ask why is your football so big and the football fans might counter isn’t your cricket bat too heavy to handle?
