ODI, which stands for One Day International, is another format played between national teams. Similar to Test cricket, only ICC-certified member countries are eligible to participate, so there are currently 12 teams competing in ODIs. ODI is a format that lies between Test and T20I cricket — it doesn’t require 4-5 days to complete a match, but it’s also longer than a 20-over game. With 50 overs per side, an ODI can be completed in a single day. To learn more about the format, check out What is ODI in Cricket.
