Saim Ayub was in full beast mode early on, smashing a 38-ball 69, while Hasan Nawaz picked up the pace later with a brutal 56 off just 26 balls. Even when things got a bit shaky in the middle, Pakistan’s lower order chipped in just enough to push the total to a healthy 207. That finishing burst, 44 runs in the last four overs, really shut the door on UAE’s chances before their chase had even begun.

UAE gave it a good crack, especially with Asif Khan going full send in the back end of the innings. His 77 off 35 balls was pure carnage, but the damage was already done by then. Waseem had offered a fiery start but fell to a mix-up, and once that window shut, Pakistan’s bowlers tightened the screws.
