Stumps:India beat West Indies by an innings and 140 runs.

The Commanding results as it should be, since the first day when India bowled out all the players of West Indies and start their innings, we are not surprised about the outcome will be one side titled. At the third day of the game, West Indies only contribute less runs and fell to compete with India, while India’s all rounder, Ravindra Jadeja proved his credit as the MVP of the match with a century and 4 wickets. Even he is now 36 years old and played without his familiar partner R Aswin, he is still clutch when the team needs him.
Commanding performance from #TeamIndia 👏
A stellar all-round show to win the first #INDvWI test by an innings and 1️⃣4️⃣0️⃣ runs to take a 1️⃣-0️⃣ lead 🔥

Mohammed Siraj, breaking his new record for with 7/71, better his performance for previous last England series 4/100, showing his wickets spells are getting even mysterious for opponents to deal with. Taking all the first wickets in West Indies innings, even the same player, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, only manage 8 total runs as an opening batter. Siraji showing his stability and grown with the bowling, and locking down the runs. India received the first win in dominance and ready for another 2nd.
Breaking new ground 🌟

IND vs WI 2025 1st Test Match:Day 2
Stumps:India lead by 286 runs.

On the second day, India went for full fire force, 3 centuries from KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, and Ravindra Jadeja, pushing the leads to 286 runs. Unmatchable batting force made West Indies looked fragile which is also true for the opening day, West Indies already gave out their first innings in just 44 overs, the spells were too strong for them to stay in the game. India then kept the unstoppable batting attack on day 2, with only 5 wickets loss till the end of the day. Styled with the leads, West Indies lost their momentum already.
That’s Stumps on Day 2!

Fans wanted to KL Rahul batting more after the break, but that might be a bit funny that he was knocked out in the first over after the lunch. But still, he did something extraordinary, the opener received his 11th Test century on day2. Rahul is in the form recently, and he is much calmer at the crease these days. We can expecting him to contribute more hundreds in the next series.

IND vs WI 2025 1st Test Match:Day 1
Stumps:India trail by 41 runs.
| West Indies | India |
| 162 | 121/2 |
India had a pretty solid opening day in the first Test against the West Indies, nothing flashy, just classic control. West Indies chose to bat but stumbled hard, getting bundled out for a modest 162 before tea. Siraj was breathing fire, nabbing 4 wickets, while Bumrah and Kuldeep chipped in with their own spicy deliveries. The Windies never quite settled. Poor Chanderpaul was out for a duck, and others didn’t hang around long either. India ended the day at 121 for 2, just 41 runs behind, with KL Rahul calmly steering the ship with an unbeaten 53.
Two fiery deliveries, two similar results 🔥🔥

There were a few reminders that this is still a transitioning Indian side, no Kohli, no Rohit, no Pant. Sai Sudharsan had a brief stay, but Rahul’s composed knock made things look steady. The bowlers did the heavy lifting, and it showed. Bumrah clocked his 50th Test wicket at home in record time! For the Windies, a few moments of resistance came from Chase and Hope, but India clearly held the upper hand. If day one is anything to go by, India looks ready to make a statement this series.

IND vs WI 2025 1st Test – Recent Matches Told the Endings Early
India come into the first Test with strong momentum after a 2-2 draw against England, a team that ranks among the best. West Indies, in contrast, have lost five of their last six Tests, including heavy defeats to Australia where they fell short by over a hundred runs each time. Their draw against Pakistan only shows they can compete with teams close to their level, but not against stronger sides. The form line is one sided, and the gap in belief is even larger. India’s balance of young talent and experienced stars makes them clear favorites, yet fans will still hope for signs of a good contest in Ahmedabad.

IND vs WI – An Unfair Match
History between these two sides tells its own story. In their last Test series India beat West Indies 4-0 without much struggle. Two years ago India needed only one innings to win, piling up 421 runs before their bowlers finished the job. Yashasvi Jaiswal led the charge with 171 runs in the opening and ready for this series. For West Indies, the only hopes in previous match are Jomel Warrican who maintain 2.34 ECON in 45 overs for their second innings, perhaps he can cause some runs droughts to Indian’s batting, still, the challenge is deep, the India’s level is too high for West Indies to reach.

IND vs WI – Decisive Firepower Difference
India’s batting carries a clear advantage, built on both form and depth. Yashasvi Jaiswal’s aggressive starts give them momentum early, while KL Rahul’s calm presence allows partnerships to grow and innings to stretch into big scores. This combination of flair and stability keeps pressure on opponents from the start. In contrast, West Indies depend heavily on Tagenarine Chanderpaul, yet his final appearance since last 2024 Jan made his performance lack of a reliable anchor. When early wickets fall, their middle order often lacks the resilience to rebuild, leaving them vulnerable in long-format conditions. At Ahmedabad, where runs usually come for those with patience and technique, this gulf in consistency and temperament could be the defining factor of the Test.

IND vs WI – Top Runs Batters Test Stats
| Top Runs Batters | Avg Runs |
| Yashasvi Jaiswal | 50.20 |
| Washington Sundar | 44.23 |

| Shai Hope | 24.52 |
IND vs WI – West Indies Bowlers Must Seize the Second Chance
West Indies will look for their chance later in the match when the Ahmedabad pitch starts to wear. Alzarri Joseph has the pace to trouble the top order and Shamar Joseph can add pressure from the other end. Warrican’s spin and Khary Pierre’s variation will be important once the ball grips the surface. If these bowlers cannot take quick wickets India’s batting lineup, led by Jaiswal, Gill, and Rahul, can push the game out of reach. The visitors must make this second innings count or the match will slip away fast.

IND vs WI 2025 1st Test – Venue History&Analysis: Narendra Modi Stadium
Stadium Capacity: Around 132,000 spectators
Stadium Address: Motera, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
About the Stadium:
Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad is the largest cricket ground in the world, with a capacity of more than 130,000 spectators. Rebuilt and reopened in 2020, it is a modern colossus designed for both comfort and grandeur. Four dressing rooms, indoor practice facilities, and high-quality drainage make it a venue equipped for the highest standards of international cricket. The sheer scale of the stands creates a theater-like experience where crowd energy becomes overwhelming for visiting teams.

The pitch here often begins with bounce and carry for fast bowlers but turns increasingly spin-friendly as the match progresses. This makes it a complete challenge, testing both technical defense and patience in batting. For India, the ground has become a fortress where spinners like Jadeja thrive, while the atmosphere itself often lifts the home side. The combination of modern infrastructure and traditional Indian cricketing conditions makes Narendra Modi Stadium a symbol of India’s dominance in Test cricket.
