PBKS vs RCB – IPL 2025 Qualifier 1 Match Results
updated:Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Punjab Kings by 8 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are back in the IPL Final game after a nine-year wait, and they did it in absolute style! Blasting past Punjab Kings by eight wickets and with 10 overs to spare, RCB barely broke a sweat. The match was pretty much over before the innings break, thanks to their bowlers tearing through PBKS for just 101. Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma both bagged three wickets each, with some smart captaincy from Rajat Patidar and a ridiculous one-handed grab from keeper Jitesh Sharma to wrap things up. PBKS’s ultra-aggressive approach backfired big time, and their middle order collapsed like a house of cards.

Chasing 102, RCB came out swinging. Phil Salt was in beast mode, hammering 56 off just 27 balls and turning the chase into a formality. Even Kohli’s early exit didn’t slow things down — Salt and Mayank kept the scoreboard racing, and though Musheer Khan picked up a late wicket, the damage was already done. Fittingly, the returning regular captain finished the game with a glorious six in the 10th over. With a four-day breather ahead, RCB now wait to see who’ll face them in the final, while PBKS have to pick up the pieces and prep for one more shot in the second qualifier.
