MI piled on a massive 215/7, helped by a late cameo from Naman Dhir and some fireworks from Corbin Bosch in his debut outing. LSG’s bowlers, despite flashes from Mayank Yadav and Avesh Khan, just couldn’t keep a lid on things.

In response, LSG looked promising early on with Marsh and Pooran showing intent, but Bumrah and Boult had other plans. Bumrah ripped through the middle order with a brutal 4-wicket spell, and Boult chipped in with 3 of his own, keeping the pressure sky-high. Ayush Badoni’s gritty 35 wasn’t enough as the chase fell apart quickly, with the last six wickets tumbling for just 26 runs.
