What Rasool Said About IPL vs DPL?

Rasool, who has played in both the Indian Premier League and the Dhaka Premier League, clarified that while Dhaka Premier League players are under tremendous pressure due to short-term contracts, IPL players are given contracts for the entire season regardless of their performance. The former RCB player made a bold claim with these statements, garnering much attention from the cricket community.
Why Parvez Rasool Thinks DPL Is More Tough?

Rasool said. “I played five years in Bangladesh, Dhaka League. I rate the Dhaka league as tougher than the IPL. I played IPL also. I played in the Dhaka League also. Tougher, why I told you, because in IPL you get a contract, right? You get selected, and then whether you play or not, you get a contract. So, it depends on the team. If you are doing well, if you are not doing well in 1 or 2 matches, then you get dropped and stay with the team.”

During its peak, the Dhaka Premier League drew some of the best cricket players in the world. Test players from other countries attended this competition even before Bangladesh was acknowledged as a major power in world cricket. The Dhaka League was a major cricket event before the emergence of franchise T20 leagues. That said, it is debatable for it to be considered tougher than the IPL in today’s world.
